I was having a very serious conversation with Bonus Daughter, age 12, this evening about centipedes and cockroaches. We are not able to agree on which bug is creepier and her friends are not much help because they keep voting for the wrong bug.Help a girl out and cast your vote.

Although I HATE cockroaches, I have learned to live with them. Well, not literally. In the South, there are 2 types. The smaller ones that infest and the larger ones (fondly called Palmetto bugs - for what reason, I don't know!) that just come inside when they feel like it. They are ugly and gross. But I think I would freak out more if a centipede came inside, so that's how I decided my vote!
